Work in Progress Wednesday. Sewing or quilting projects

It’s WIP wednesday and I surely have a few of those around the shoppe! I know quilters and those who love fabric generally have 2-10 works in progress going at once. Right? Here are a few of mine! I have 3 kiddos 5 and under but I really need to carve out a little time for myself to do some creating. No excuse! I think this weekly post will keep me on task!

These are my trial blocks for the scrappy trip along that was all over instagram at the beginning of the year. I had to try a few to see if it was as easy, fun, and addicting as everyone was saying. I was 9 months pregnant at the time and knew i couldn’t take on another project but had to try out at least one block. I am excited to make a few more.

I started this charm quilt back in the winter and will finish it by Christmas I hope:) 20130612-141106.jpg

This is my favorite and i can’t wait to dig into this one! I just love this happy go lucky line and the hexie precuts! I fell in love with the Thimble Blossoms quilt and had to make one of my own. We have kits patterns and the precuts for this quilt available in the Fabric Shoppe!

I am linking up with Freshly Pieced. Hoping that having these posted up here will help me to get a few done. Do you have any works in progress right now?

  1. So glad I’m not the only one with projects started and not finished, I currently have a bag waiting handles, a tunic with no sleeves, two liberty print pillows cut but not sewn and material crying out to be made into a beach bag! Good news is that I finished the sun hat to match the beach bag! I love your blocks for the scrappy tip along, the colours are great.

  2. Thanks Lesley! I can’t wait to finish it someday! Your projects sound fun too!:)
