My DIY project goals for 2012

Happy 2012 everyone! I hope your New Years celebrations were fun. Did you make any resolutions? We set down a few goals and one of mine is to do more diy/homemade projects this year. I have been saving sooooo many healthy and/or frugal projects on my pinterest boards and have tried a few including this homemade laundry detergent. But I would like to do more…so here is my list!

Jan: Natural homemade vanilla pancake syrup

Feb: Homemade tub scrub

March: Homemade peanut butter

April: Natural face wash

May: homemade taco seasoning mix and homemade cream soup mix

June: homemade dishwashing soap

July: Homemade bubble bath

August: Homemade ketchup

September: Homemade  whole wheat pretzel bites

October: Homemade hair detangler

November: Homemade naan

December: Homemade hand soap

I will share how they went. I got motivated by Money Saving Moms diy project list and thought I would join in that adventure. She had quite a few that I wanted to try too! So thanks Crystal for the inspiration!  And I think one project per month is very doable! Have you done any diy projects lately? How did they turn out! Here are a few that didn’t make the list but I will probably also try this year!

Homemade granola (find a wholesome recipe so we can always have it on hand)

homemade vics rub

homemade wheat thins
